The Rheumatism Guide for the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthropathy and spondyloarthritis is based on the short version of the “Guidelines for Practice – RA, PSA and SPA” published for the first time in 2020 by the Austrian Society for Rheumatology and Rehabilitation (ÖGR).The APP is updated at regular intervals.
The clinical pictures are described, therapy guidelines are presented according to the EULAR guidelines and practical links to documentation options are listed.Highlights of the app include: the various score calculators (e.g.
CDAI, SDAI, DAS28, RADAI-5, HAQ-DI, ASDAS, BASDAI and BASFI, SASPA), the clear presentation of the guidelines for the treatment of RA, PSA and SPA, and recommendations for the use of important medications The desire to have children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as the topic of “vaccination during therapy”.
Furthermore, links to relevant literature as well as to Austrian and international events as well as information sheets for common DMARDs are linked via the ÖGR homepage.All chapters have been updated according to the latest EULAR recommendations and supplemented with new therapy options.
The topic of vaccination has been expanded to include Covid 19 and RSV.The app also contains links to patient information and relevant Austrian registries.The RheumaGuide is intended exclusively for use by medical personnel.
